Outside of Weald and Warrens, though, buffing blight is pointless, so I wouldn't use these except there and against somewhat blight-resistant bosses. The Shieldbreaker makes use of new combat mechanics such as Armor Piercing, Guard Break and Stealth. She specializes in countering monsters with high protection or those who guard their allies. The Shieldbreaker is a new hero class with low health but solid damage dealing capabilities. After the more hefty addition that was The Crimson Court, Darkest Dungeon has just received its second DLC.
